The Necessity of Truth is a freelance project I was appointed to work on by the Art Director for Austin Community College’s Art Gallery. I collaborated with a colleague to help create and design the book layout. The book contains 170 pages that features the artwork of several minority artists within the Austin, Texas area. The client created a unique bilingual concept that features the Spanish text taking priority over the English text. I was able to use the client’s vision to create color coordinated sections for each artist throughout the book. I used their colors for the language translations and line work. This project enabled to me to let my creative talent flourish by adding my unique skills to the layout of the book as well as designing the front and back covers of the book.
