With this design, my team and I had fun creating a simple logotype and brochure that embodied the refreshing and mesmerizing city of San Diego, California. I chose a color palette that represents everything that San Diego stands for.  The colors that I chose were inspired by the beach and the world-famous San Diego Padres. The typography for this piece allows the design to appear visually clean and timeless.

The logo I created personifies the San Diego lifestyle. I used yellow for the brightness of the sun, blue for the cool ocean waves, and brown for the warm sandy beaches. The design aspects of the brochure were created for families with small children in mind. I included word searches for the children, to do lists for the adults, and common tourist destinations that are suitable for the entire family.
